Pod & Pour – Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

How to book
All sessions must be booked in advance via our website booking form or by contacting Pod & Pour directly to confirm availability.

Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session.
Pod & Pour is currently operating under Louis James-Parker Ltd while final setup is completed. All invoices will be issued via this entity.

2. Services

Pod & Pour offers the following services:

Podcast Kickstarter Session
Designed as an entry-level or pilot session. This is the only service that includes the handover of raw audio and video files.

Recording Only
Includes access to the podcast studio, a studio operator, professional cameras, and microphones. No editing is included. Raw footage is not supplied unless explicitly agreed in writing before the session.

Recording + Editing
Includes full recording services and professional editing by a dedicated podcast producer. Edited content may include audio mastering, colour correction, logo or music integration, and removal of unwanted sections. Revisions are included as outlined in the selected package.

Pod & Pour Together
A guided, hosted recording session designed to generate high-quality, finished content. This service includes recording and professional editing. Raw footage is not included. Final edited deliverables only are supplied.

Talking Head Sessions
A packaged service for short-form and long-form talking head videos. Includes filming and professional editing. Raw footage is not included. Final edited deliverables only are supplied.

DIY Audio Sessions
Audio-only studio access with no engineer or operator provided.

Discounts
Any applicable discounts are outlined within individual packages or provided on enquiry.

3. Additional Services

Optional services such as thumbnails, uploads, captions, trailers, or social media edits can be added. These are quoted separately. Please get in touch for a tailored quote.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Taster Sessions
Sessions may be rescheduled without charge if at least 7 days’ notice is given.

Subscription Packages
A minimum of 2 days’ notice is required to reschedule a session. Missed sessions without sufficient notice are forfeited and not refundable.

Limited Rollover Policy
Unused subscription hours may roll over once into the following month only. Any remaining unused hours after this period are forfeited.

Late Cancellations
Sessions cancelled outside the stated notice periods are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

5. Studio Use and Responsibilities

Clients must arrive on time. Late arrivals do not extend session time.
Only Pod & Pour staff may operate studio equipment, except during DIY audio sessions.
Clients are responsible for any damage caused by misuse of studio equipment.

6. Deliverables and Turnaround

Edited content is typically delivered within 5–10 working days, subject to timely client feedback.
Revisions are included as outlined in the selected package. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

7. Raw Footage Policy

Raw audio and video files are only supplied as part of the Podcast Kickstarter Session.
Pod & Pour Together and Talking Head services are finished-content packages.
Raw footage is not included, supplied, or archived for delivery unless explicitly agreed in writing prior to booking.

8. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

Clients retain ownership of the final delivered content. Pod & Pour does not claim copyright.
Pod & Pour reserves the right to use excerpts of recorded footage, audio, or stills for marketing and promotional purposes.
Credit is appreciated but not mandatory in the form of “Produced by Pod & Pour” with a link to www.podandpour.co.uk.
Footage may be uploaded to third-party platforms for editing, delivery, or storage.

9. Guest Consent and Model Release

Clients are responsible for ensuring all participants consent to being recorded and for their content to be edited and published.
Pod & Pour may use footage for promotional purposes.
A model release template is available on request. Clients are advised to seek independent legal advice if required.

10. Liability

Pod & Pour is not responsible for loss or damage to client property.
Pod & Pour is not liable for delays or issues caused by third-party services, including internet connectivity or cloud platforms.
Pod & Pour will not be held liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control. If Pod & Pour cannot deliver the service, a full refund will be issued. No further liability is accepted.

11. Agreement

By booking a session, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and accept responsibility for any additional charges arising from misuse of studio facilities or equipment.

12. Changes to Terms

Pod & Pour reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates take effect immediately upon publication. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
